Goed idee. Maar wat maak je dan? Deze romige limabonen met spinazie, zongedroogde tomaten en Parmezaan zijn ronduit z\u00e1lig en staan in een mum op tafel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waarom vaker bonen eten een goed idee is<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Meer bonen en peulvruchten eten is niet voor niets een van de nieuwe adviezen van de Schijf van Vijf. Ze zitten vol vezels, plantaardige eiwitten, ijzer en andere voedingsstoffen die goed voor je zijn. Ook fijn: bonen vullen goed en geven lang energie, waardoor je minder snel weer trek krijgt. Zeker als je wat minder vlees wilt eten, zijn peulvruchten een makkelijke manier om je maaltijd toch lekker stevig en voedzaam te maken. En nee, dat hoeft echt niet altijd een chili sin carne of linzensoep te zijn, zo bewijzen we met dit makkelijke recept. Je kunt er romige sauzen mee maken, burgers van bakken, ze door pasta\u2019s gooien of, zoals hier, gebruiken als basis voor een snel eenpansgerecht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wat zijn limabonen eigenlijk?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Limabonen komen oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Amerika en danken hun naam aan de stad Lima in Peru. Daar worden ze al duizenden jaren gegeten. Inmiddels zijn ze over de hele wereld populair, vooral in de Mediterrane keuken en Latijns-Amerikaanse gerechten. Je komt ze ook tegen onder namen als boterbonen of soms reuzenbonen, al zit daar afhankelijk van de soort wel een klein verschil tussen. Wat ze gemeen hebben? Ze zijn groot, zacht en bijna boterig van structuur. En precies daarom werken ze zo goed in romige gerechten zoals deze. Limabonen hebben een vrij milde smaak. Ze nemen kruiden, knoflook, kaas en zongedroogde tomaten daardoor extra goed op. Dat maakt ze ideaal voor snelle vegetarische maaltijden die toch lekker vullend zijn. Je vindt limabonen meestal in pot of blik bij de supermarkt of toko.
