This shop has been a household name in Tilburg since 1975! Sam-Sam is not just a second-hand shop, it is a vintage mecca for men and women, tucked away in the charming Dwaal area. The colourful façade invites you in and once inside, it feels like you have stepped into a time machine. Owner Adrie sources his collection from all over the world. No wonder stylists and fashion lovers love coming here for their unique finds. This second-hand shop is also home to Antenne: a record corner where you can score vinyl in small editions, especially electronic music. DJs and collectors have known how to find this place for years. In short, Sam-Sam is an absolute must-visit If you're planning a day out in Tilburg.

Lilac

At Lilac preloved & vintage is all about curating the finest second-hand and vintage gems for you! At this boutique on Radiopleintje - just opposite the Wandering Area - you will find carefully selected second-hand clothes presented as new. Owner Eefje scours town and country for unique preloved gems. Everything is professionally cleaned and lovingly styled, so you no longer have to scroll, dig or search. You walk out of here with an outfit that feels like it was put together especially for you. That's why Lilac is one of those shops where you never leave empty-handed.

Lila is the second-hand shop in Tilburg where you can find a carefully selected vintage gem. In any case, the Dwaal area is home to many cool sustainable and second-hand boutiques, so definitely ‘wander’ around here is the tip! Labels4All

At Labels4All shop second-hand designer clothes that are barely distinguishable from new. From GANNI and Isabel Marant to Prada and See by Chloé - the collection is carefully composed and always up-to-date. Men and children can also indulge themselves here, as the selection is broad and stylish. An ideal place for those who love quality and design without paying top prices.

Vincentshop

Directly opposite Poppodium 013 you will find the Vincent shop, a thrift shop that has been a household name in Tilburg since 1952. In 2024, the shop underwent a renovation, giving it a fresh and uncluttered look. Here you shop second-hand clothes, books, records, crockery and small furniture at friendly prices. For lovers of designer pieces, there is a separate section with carefully selected items. The shop is run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, and the proceeds go towards fighting poverty in the city.

Rips Vintage

A fresh newcomer to Heuvelstraat (Wandering Area) and already a favourite! At Rips Vintage find unique vintage clothes WITHOUT the headline price. Founders Sarah and Stef once started on Vinted, but have now opened a physical shop in between the big chains. Their mission? Make vintage accessible and give something back: for every item sold, they donate a garment to a local charity. Besides clothes, you can also score cool home accessories here.

Recycling in Tilburg

Just outside the city centre, on Ceram Street, you will find Recycling in Tilburg: a huge hall where you really can find anything. From teaspoons to handbags, books to small furniture - the range is wide and constantly changing. Run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, the shop has a clear mission: reduce, reuse, recycle. As an official Wecycle drop-off point, they also accept faulty electronics, bulbs and white goods. In short, definitely worth a visit to treasure affordable finds.

ReShare Store

On Willem II street you will find the ReShare Store, a fresh and modern second-hand shop of the Salvation Army. Here you shop beautiful second-hand and vintage clothes at a fair price. The proceeds go to social projects and you can also donate clothes there. The shop has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is run by enthusiastic volunteers. A visit to the ReShare Store is not only good for your wardrobe, but also for society!

From Tilly

At From Tilly on Molenstraat offers a wide collection of second-hand clothes for women, men and children - from H&M to designer pieces. Everything is arranged by size and colour, which makes browsing extra easy. The shop is updated daily with new items donated by Tilburg residents themselves. All proceeds go to local charities.

The refectory

Something completely different for lovers of antiques and curiosities: at The refectory in the Wandering Area shop things with a story. Think monastery inventory, antique vases, statues and religious art. The shop is a feast for the eyes, whether you are a collector, an interior lover or just curious. Definitely worth popping in and marvelling at all the beauty. And who knows, you might go home with a unique find for your sideboard.

Alta Design

In the heart of the Wandering Area you will find Alta Design, a cosy shop full of vintage furniture and interior accessories from the 50s, 60s and 70s. From Art Deco to Bauhaus and Dutch functionalism, the collection has been carefully curated by owner Rens Alta. Besides original pieces, you will also find reissued lamps inspired by the work of Gispen. A must-visit for lovers of unique design with a story.
