This side dish is such a big hit at our house that I make these nuggets almost every week these days. And I'm getting better at it too. In this recipe, I share how to make the crispiest nuggets out of cauliflower. You conjure it up in no time, the oven has to do most of the work<\/strong>. <strong>It is a delicious kid-friendly side dish, but it also fits perfectly as a snack on a vegan drinks board.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child-friendly vegetable: cauliflower nuggets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Dutch cauliflower can be bought in the Netherlands for much of the year. From June to November anyway, you can buy this vegetable fresh from the fields, which makes a cauliflower a nice sustainable choice. In the cold months, you can sometimes also find a winter cauliflower from Dutch soil, making this vegetable on sale almost all year round. It's also fun to see if you can score a purple or orange cauliflower at an organic market, under the influence of light the colour can change. Moreover, purple cauliflowers often have a softer taste: literally and figuratively a party on your plate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creative with cauliflower<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>But how do you cook a cauliflower in a tasty way? Cooked with a cheese mash is not quite our thing and so we look for other easy cauliflower recipes. Earlier, we shared a recipe for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegreenlist.nl\/en\/recipe-whole-roasted-cauliflower-from-the-oven\/\">whole roasted cauliflower<\/a>, this dish is also very nice. These cauliflower nuggets are a little more approachable and kid-friendly. cauliflower?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A serving of cauliflower contains 77% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C. It is also full of vitamin K, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, magnesium, phosphorus, fibre, vitamins B5 and B6, folic acid, potassium and manganese.
