CBS has calculated that there must be 12 billion kilos of furniture in circulation in the Netherlands. That does not include chairs and sofas, as these count as a separate category. Think of everything we have in homes, warehouses, businesses and shops in the Netherlands. That's quite a lot, but 12 billion kilos is also good news.
