Recipe: making large vegan chocolate letters
Oh, come and see what I find in my shoe, All given by that dear Saint.... With this beautiful chocolate letter you will steal the show. What a surprise! And completely without dairy. This vegan chocolate letter looks insane and professional, but is very easy to make.
Kitchenware
- au bain-marie dish
- piping bagnozzle with serrated edge
- baking tray or large flat plate
- sheet of baking paper
Ingredients
- 200 gr vegan dark chocolate
- 100 gr vegan milk chocolate
- 100 gr vegan white chocolate
- 90 gr vegetable butter
- optional vegan sweets as decoration (such as vegan dog's heads and marshmallows)
Instructions
- Let the butter soften and mash it with a fork.
- Melt ¾ of the vegan dark and milk chocolate au bain-marie.
- Remove from the heat, add the rest of the vegan dark and milk chocolate and let it melt.
- Let the melted chocolate cool slightly.
- Mix it with the butter and let it cool further until it is as thick as chocolate spread.
- Put this in a piping bag and pipe (using short movements back and forth) the desired letter onto a baking tray or large plate lined with baking paper. You can draw the letter on the paper beforehand. Immediately decorate the letter with vegan sweets as desired.
- Melt the white chocolate au bain-marie. Pipe some more pretty white chocolate puffs on the letter.
- Decorate with vegan sweets of your choice.
- Let the letter solidify in a cool place for about 2 hours. Wrap in a flat box for gift night or share with hot vegan chocolate.
