Leftover festive toasts from Christmas or Easter? Don't throw it away! In a few simple steps, you can transform an old festive toaster into the most delicious French toast. Perfect as a festive breakfast, luxury lunch or dessert.

Instructions
Beat the eggs with the milk and cinnamon in a deep dish or bowl.
Gently roll the party cake slices through the mixture. Leave them for a while, but no longer than a minute, otherwise they will fall apart.
Heat a knob of butter in the frying pan and fry the French toast on medium-high heat. Fry for about 5 minutes per side, until nicely golden brown. Note: sultanas can burn quickly.
Serve the French toast with a little icing sugar, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fruit of your choice.
