Find the most beautiful sustainable holiday destinations with Nature Travel Lab

Beautiful Instagrammable holiday pictures with colourful parasols, azure sea and the feeling of being all alone with the locals. We sign for it at thegreenlist.nl. But oef, finding those greener holiday gems can be quite tricky. We still have mouse arm from searching for last holiday destination. Good news for holidaymakers who also like to go off the beaten track, as Nature Travel Lab is a great inspiration platform with more sustainable travel tips.

Nature Travel Lab will get you somewhere

In collaboration with Nature Travel Lab

Finding an awesome holiday destination within driving or train distance from the Netherlands is already quite a heave. And then you would also prefer tasteful accommodation in a good location, for instance close to a city, the beach or in a special nature reserve that has been on your bucket list for years. Nature Travel Lab helps you do just that. Founder Madelon Seignette, with her serious track record in the travel industry, has a nose for the most beautiful destinations and accommodations. In doing so, she also checks whether a holiday ticks one or more of the more sustainable boxes to ensure that your holiday puts as little strain on the planet as possible, but allows you to enjoy it to the maximum. And, another advantage: Nature Travel Lab lets you book directly with the owner. Talk about small-scale and intimate....

Madelon: ‘Travelling more sustainably means travelling with respect for nature and local communities, and minimising your carbon footprint. This means making conscious choices and that starts with the choice of your accommodation.’

Will you choose a special travel destination like Georgia or go in search of the undiscovered places of Italy? With Nature Travel Lab's help, you're bound to succeed!

Special travel destinations

We searched Nature Travel Lab for ideas for our next holiday and suffered from acute choice stress. Will it be a cottage by the sea in Sardinia, a round trip to an original destination such as Georgia, a Tree house in Norway Or do we opt for something special closer to home, because even for Netherlands and Germany Nature Travel Lab has tips and ideas. With handy icons on the site, you can see at a glance in which areas an overnight stay is more sustainable. For instance, Madelon tries to find out what the footprint is, whether you can also get there by train, how (sustainably) it is built, how the staff and nature are treated, whether there is a waste policy and also whether there is a bit of your wellbeing is thought - bare buttocks in the sauna!

Come get inspiration for your next holiday!

At Nature Travel Lab, they believe everyone can contribute to a more sustainable world by making responsible travel decisions, whatever type of holidaymaker you are. On the platform, you will find inspiration for solo travellers, group travellers, nature lovers, beach lovers, hikers, cyclists and other adventurers. Want to know more? Check their website.
