Crazy, you find an awesome second-hand gem on Vinted, turns out the seller comes from Italy or Spain. So many transport kilometres is not exactly sustainable, of course. And besides, it often takes a long time before the item reaches you. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to filter for Dutch sellers on Vinted. And yet, from now on it will be easier to find clothes from Dutch Vinted sellers. We'll tell you how!
This is how you find clothes from the Netherlands on Vinted
It's one of the most frequently asked questions from our followers and readers: ‘how can I find clothes from the Netherlands on Vinted?’ because, unfortunately, it is not possible to filter for second-hand items from Dutch sellers. And yet, there is a way to save yourself a sore thumb from scrolling and the disappointment of finding a Spanish or Italian vintage treasure. Yes, it is definitely possible to fish out Dutch bargains faster, though. We have tips for you!
Search by country or city!
Did you know that it's surprisingly easy to find second-hand gems near you on Vinted? All you have to do is add your hometown to your search. So instead of just ‘Vans size 38’, type ‘Vans 38 Amsterdam’ or ‘Mini Rodini 122 Utrecht’. And voilà : you will immediately see items that are practically around the corner. Ideal if you prefer to collect yourself or need something quickly. Try it with your favourite brand + size + city - chances are you will score something nice nearby. It's both sustainable and convenient!
Filter on Dutch clothing brands
Want to find more Dutch Vinted sellers? Then follow Dutch clothing brands. In the Vinted app, press the profile icon and go to ‘personalisation’. Here you can then select clothing brands you would like to follow. More items from that brand will then automatically appear in your feed and thus also more Dutch Vinted sellers. Voilà , it can be that easy!
Follow your favourite Dutch Vinted sellers
Go follow your favourite Dutch Vinted sellers! That way, in addition to the Dutch brands (see previous tip), you will always have their offerings in your feed. Take a look at the second-hand items you've bought on Vinted in the past and start following those sellers. Or see if well-known influencers and BNs you think are cool also have an account on Vinted and follow them too for more Dutch gems.
Check the hometown of the Vinted seller
If you regularly scroll through Vinted, you've probably already spotted this: you can also very easily see where a seller lives during your search. This tip is especially useful if you are looking for something that is on sale in huge quantities. Then choose an item from the Netherlands or Belgium. Unfortunately, that rich offer does not often apply to the more sustainable clothing brands. By comparison, the Kings of Indigo clothing brand has only four thousand items on Vinted, while you can find over sixty million items from Zara. On the other hand, Kings of Indigo is a Dutch fashion company.

Here's how to find more local sellers on Vinted!
Hopefully these tips will give you enough ammunition to further personalise your Vinted account with Dutch sellers! Starting to follow Dutch brands and cool Dutch Vinted sellers takes some work, but once it's set up, you're going to have a lot of fun with this, as the best offerings will appear first in your feed. Bonus tip: if you discover a new clothing brand that is totally your style while shopping or at a friend's place, add it as a search immediately in Vinted. Before you know it, you'll have your own unique second-hand clothing shop in your pocket and everyone will be asking how you still get those special garments. Good luck with that!
