Homie durable washing machine rental.

Homie: Need a new washing machine or fridge? Rent one!

Ai... your washing machine, dryer or fridge breaks down. Buying a new one is a big expense. Of course, you can look for an affordable second-hand one, but they are often less energy-efficient. And if such an appliance breaks down, you are left with high repair costs or - even worse - without a working appliance. Homie offers a smart, sustainable solution: rent an energy-efficient appliance, including service. You enjoy a top appliance, without the hassle.

How does Homie work?

In collaboration with Homie

With Homie, you choose your own energy-efficient washing machine, dryer or fridge and pay a fixed amount per month, starting from 10.99 euros. What else is different from what you are used to: Homie retains ownership of the appliance and handles maintenance, repairs and replacement when needed. FINE. So you always have a well-functioning appliance in your home, without big purchase costs or unexpected bills from handymen. In this way, Homie works with home users to ensure that appliances last longer and waste less energy. See, that's sustainable and that's why we like to tip this option!

Renting a fridge, dryer or washing machine?

OK, you've got some ears for this. How does it work? At Homie, you choose a subscription that suits you - for six months, three years or five years - and order an energy-efficient washer, dryer, washer-dryer combination or fridge online. Within three working days, your appliance will be delivered, connected and explained free of charge. Your old appliance? Homie will take that away free of charge for recycling. Maintenance and repairs are included and if something does go wrong, a replacement will quickly be delivered to your home. And you can easily arrange everything via your Homie account, from giving notice of a move to handing over your appliance to a new resident. Nice!

Homie, a good circular idea

Homie fits perfectly into the idea of a circular economy, where products last longer and raw materials are reused as much as possible. The government wants us to live fully circular lives by 2050, which means using products longer, using fewer new raw materials and making smarter use of what we already have. Homie is cleverly capitalising on this. Together with the manufacturer, they have developed their own energy-efficient and affordable appliances. Because Homie retains ownership, they have every interest in ensuring that they are well built, well maintained and given a second life after use. Old appliances are repaired or recycled, so valuable materials are not wasted. This prevents waste on several fronts: fewer appliances ending up on the scrapheap and less unnecessary consumption during use.
