A nut spread is a nut spread, right? You might think. But if you know TerraSana's, you'll know better. And no, we're not just talking about that sustainable story - organic, B Corp, totally top-notch - but above all: that taste! We've already tasted some of their other variants (that crunchy peanut butter, seriously... god-de-lijk), but now there's a new one: Almond Crunchy Chai. Creamy almond paste, spicy chai, crunchy bits. Brilliant combo. And that taste? A big ten!
Almond Crunchy Chai nut paste
In collaboration with TerraSana
What do you taste? Peppernuts, speculoos, a hint of salt, a little sweetness, AND a lot of gingerbread. crunch. Some people call it ‘the taste of shake buns in a jar’. We get that. It is a creamy almond paste made from organic almonds, warm chai spices like cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, and a touch of coconut blossom sugar. A nutty base with the spicy warmth of chai and a surprisingly delicious bite. Great on bread, in your yoghurt bowl with fruit (banáán), but also delicious in a carrot cake, cake or through a pancake. Or, ahead, just spoon it out of the pot when no one is looking.
Organic nut spreads
Finding responsible sandwich fillings is quite a challenge. Especially if you are looking for something nutritious, without unnecessary additives and that the kids like. Fortunately, nut spreads are a golden solution. Almonds, cashews and peanuts are packed with healthy fats, vegetable proteins and fibres, and children usually love them. And at TerraSana, you can indulge yourself, as they have no fewer than 23 different nut spreads in store. These are traditionally made in their own factory in Leimuiden, solar-powered still. Earlier, we took a look at the factory. TerraSana has been working with small-scale organic farmers for 35 years and you can taste it: their pastas contain only pure ingredients. So you don't just spread something delicious, but also something good. And now a new one has been added, especially for those who love a hint of sweet and savoury: Almond Crunchy Chai. Be warned: addictively delicious is our conclusion.
