And this is reflected in various sectors. In the tourism sector, circular recreational houses are being designed, while a deal on fibre hemp will ensure that a thousand Frisian houses are renovated sustainably, saving 1,700 tonnes of CO2! Meanwhile, almost all Frisian municipalities are betting on circular procurement. All this comes together in the circular year 2025, in which Association Circular Friesland and Meet in Friesland inviting entrepreneurs, educational institutions and governments to discover it for themselves.
