Sustainable marketing goodies.

More sustainable marketing goodies from your company

There comes a time when, as an entrepreneur, you need corporate gifts. Perhaps for a trade fair, as a thank-you gift for your clients or to surprise your team with something nice. A cool tote bag, a jumper with your logo or a stylish pen: these are popular choices. But how do you do it smartly and in a more sustainable way? With these three tips, you can easily make greener choices for your marketing merchandise.

Three tips for more sustainable marketing goodies

In partnership with Gift Campaign

Tip 1: opt for certified and more sustainable materials

You guessed it: also when choosing corporate gifts and marketing goodies you have better, more durable options. Does your team need jumpers with your company logo for a big trade show? Then choose ones made of certified organic cotton with labels such as Oeko-Tex or Fairtrade. Classics to give away are also notebooks, which are also made of recycled paper and on which you can place your logo. We also notice that many marketing goodies are made of plastic. There are more and more alternatives to these too, and they are not at all complicated to find. You can easily find a sustainable corporate gift from Gift Campaign. They offer a wide range of marketing goodies from materials such as bamboo, wood, recycled plastic and organic cotton. That's something else and it looks a lot nicer too!

Bonus tip: let you goodies printing? Then enquire about more sustainable printing options. Think water-based ink or printing techniques with a smaller ecological footprint.

Tip 2: keep it small and especially focused

Have you chosen your sustainable corporate gift? Then think smartly about the print run. Keep it realistic, so you don't end up with a mountain of unused items. Only give your gifts to relations who are really important to you and who are (or will be) enthusiastic about your company or brand. That way, you know for sure that your goodies do not disappear into a drawer, but are really appreciated and used.

Tip 3: give old goodies a new life

Are you left with a stock goodies sit through a rebranding or for some other reason? Aii, of course you'd rather not. One resort then is: upcycling! Fortunately, there are plenty of creative solutions to still give them a meaningful second life. For instance, circular clothing designers are incredibly happy to use your old T-shirts or cloth bags made of beautiful organic cotton. They don't care about that outdated logo, they will work around that. Want to think ahead? Then choose marketing items that are flexible. A glass drinking bottle with a loose jute sleeve, for example. Does your house style change? Then just replace the sleeve, while the bottle will continue to be used. This way, you already take into account a possible future scenario during the selection process - that's circular thinking!
