This time a tip for the greener-list-for-Haarlem: café-restaurant Menu Corridor, located in the old dome prison. This place is definitely worth the diversions. Reserve a bistro table and discover this special place for yourself!
Dining in the old dome prison
Menu Corridor is located in the former Administration Building of the Dome Prison, a place with an impressive story. This makes a visit to this restaurant an experience definitely not to be missed on your green bucket list. Where prisoners and visitors were once received, you now walk through the historic corridor to a restaurant. Here, the chilly atmosphere of yesteryear has given way to a warm, cosy bistro atmosphere. FYI: since its renovation in 2020, the Dome is a cultural and entertainment spot that is also definitely worth checking out if you do come to eat.

French bistro in Haarlem
Once seated at the bar or a cosy bistro table, you will find a menu full of surprises. The menu combines classics with modern twists: from small dishes to share to a traditional three-course menu. Everything is carefully prepared, in tune with the season, and with plenty of options for vegetarians. The chefs know how to conjure up delicious combinations on your plate time and again, complemented by an extensive and carefully composed wine list. Can't choose? We had that too, which is why we shared a selection of starters: aubergine with miso, celeriac with cheese foam and chanterelles, stracciatella with pear and pistachio, and delicious clams with fresh bread.
