An evening of relaxation for two at a fine spa? Yes please! Hotel & Wellness Zuiver, on the edge of the Amsterdamse Bos, offers a special Date Night Package. Saskia tried it out and it was SO nice. A warm sauna and a two-course dinner in a bathrobe... now that is an original and healthy date night with your sweetheart or a friend.

What do you get when you choose Hotel & Wellnes Zuiver's Date Night Package? First of all, access to all saunas and baths, of course. From 17:00, you are welcome in the wellness area and, dressed in your bathrobe, step straight onto the sauna square. You can immediately immerse yourself in the warmth of various saunas, steam baths, bubble baths and the swimming pool. Our favourite? The fireplace sauna, a wooden sauna with a crackling fire. Wonderfully hot and cosy. And afterwards: cool down and hop into the hot tub in the middle of the outdoor area. Especially when it is already dark, this is a truly magical moment. Steaming water, fresh air outside, and otherwise it is pitch black all around you.
At Hotel & Wellnes Zuiver, several infusions are also held each evening. If you get there in time, you can join one of these fragrant sessions with essential oils, where a sauna master waves hot air in your direction with a towel.
Eating in your bathrobe? Yes please!
Around dinner time, you'll slide into the wellness restaurant - yes, still in your bathrobe - for a two-course dinner. The Date Package includes this, as well as two glasses of champagne. Nice and easy: scan your wristband and you're done. The menu changes regularly, but there are always plenty of vegetarian options. We chose a plate full of colour as a starter: romanesco, sweet and sour red onion, vegan Greek white, pumpkin seeds and pomegranate seeds. For the main course, it was the lemon and ricotta ravioli, with celery and a lukewarm yoghurt sauce. A perfect light meal to continue on to sauna adventure afterwards.
