Hair products, such as hair gel and hair wax, are often unsustainable and not free of substances you might prefer not to use. You can also make these yourself using natural ingredients. Zero waste expert Emily-Jane went to work herself and shares her DIY recipe for hair wax with us. Making your own hair wax? Here's how to do it!
Making your own hair wax
From detergent, all-purpose cleaner and deodorant it is well known that you can make these yourself at home. Not difficult at all! But that you can also make your own hair wax, many people don't know. Styling your hair can also be done just fine using natural ingredients and is a nice zero waste hack, since hair wax normally comes in a plastic jar, of course. I share with you my favourite recipe.
