Duurzame restaurant tip Mana Mana in Amsterdam.

Restaurant Mana Mana is a vega(n) gem of Amsterdam

You can eat blissful vegetarian and vegan food in Amsterdam. Restaurant Mana Mana Amsterdam is one that definitely belongs in the list of thegreenlist.nl. The hummus is among perhaps the best in Amsterdam and the smoked aubergine is downright divine.

Restaurant Mana Mana Amsterdam

‘In Cauliflower we trust’, that is Mana Mana's slogan. From a tiny kitchen in a side street of the Ferdinand Bol, they fanatically cook Middle Eastern food every evening. The shared dining dishes are not only exceptional in taste, they also look like works of art. You almost dare not cut them. But once you do, you're sold. In its own words, the Psychedelic Cauliflower the restaurant's signature dish, and we don't blame them. This one is truly a-ma-zing. And we are not the only ones who think so, from the open kitchen one crunchy cauliflower pie after another slides by. Want to make a whole roasted cauliflower yourself? We have a recipe you can use to make it at home.

Taps all the boxes

Mana Mana Amsterdam's menu features only exceptional vegetarian and vegan dishes. If you settle there soon, try their famous psychedelic cauliflower also the smoked aubergine, veggi calamari of mushrooms and, of course, the hummus as a starter. Seriously, this might just end up being your tastiest hummus experience ever (or so far). I am convinced that even a big meat lover will not miss a piece of meat or fish. Yet Mana Mana has thought of them too, as there are a few meat dishes on the menu. Mana Mana's good-humoured service, reasonable prices, fine wine list and cosy atmosphere, make it a favourite restaurant for me to visit.

Tip tip: Mana Mana in Amsterdam and taste the psychedelic cauliflower & smoked aubergine.
