Vegan Easter eggs can be found in almost every supermarket these days - hooray! Delicious for snacking, but you can also make surprise eggs out of them. A vegan surprise egg? Well something like that. Only in this case, the adults also have a hard time staying away from them. The secret: dates, peanut butter, nuts and oats. So make your own vegan sweets for Easter!
Surprise eggs made from vegan Easter eggs
At Easter, lots of people are once again sitting at a cosy breakfast or brunch table with the family. How do you set that Easter table? Because here, too, you can make sustainable choices. At my house, the Easter breakfast table is set with vegan products, so no eggs and no buttercream lamb. It's no less cosy at all! My adolescents look forward to Easter breakfast every year. My surprise vegan Easter eggs definitely contribute to this!
Easter date balls
How I came up with this idea? Well, date balls every child likes. Trust me! And it's a responsible candy. Earlier, I shared This favourite date snack. I make these regularly, but for Easter I go a bit bigger by hiding vegan Easter eggs in them. Surprise! The date - totally the Medjoul date - is such a wonderfully sweet and easy product for this kind of thing. For the Easter table, I came up with these hidden Easter egg balls. A soft date ball with an Easter egg as filling, so bite carefully.

Oatmeal, vegan Easter eggs and dates are a delicious combination.
