Meet the team!
Do you know thegreenlist.nl only from Instagram, you might think there's just one woman behind it. Nope! Behind the greener magazine is an enthusiastic team of freelance journalists, content creators and people with hands-on experience. Especially for you, we explore, share our best sustainable tips, greener shopping lists and the coolest spots. What we share is the love of our beautiful planet and of language, but we are also very different. Luckily, because that makes thegreenlist.nl just so versatile and fun. We would like to introduce ourselves!
Who we are
Saskia
Founder of thegreenlist.nl, the lifestyle magazine and largest Instagram community for people who want to live more sustainably. Her goal? To get as many people as possible excited about living more sustainably. Sas also wrote the sustainable lifestyle book Niks Nieuws.
Kirsten
Kirsten likes to write about sustainable parenting and she is the content manager of thegreenlist.nl. She does this from Austria, where she tries to live as sustainably as possible with her husband and two daughters. On her own Insta @kirsten.marit.schoner she also shares green tips.
Lauri
Lauri is a historian with a green heart and a fluent pen. She loves reading, is politically engaged and likes to delve into challenging subjects. This is a perfect combination: she researches everyday topics like food and clothing and shares her findings and tips with you.Â
Melanie
Melanie is our DIY expert. She comes up with original and useful things you can do with waste. She scours thrift shops looking for things she can upcycle. She shares her cutest DIY projects with us and we are super happy about it!
Corine
Corine has a background in journalism, but is now a grade 3 teacher at a school in Amsterdam. She teaches children to write, read and do maths, but also how to do your best for a more sustainable world. Explaining difficult things simply is her thing. An asset!
Fleur
Fleur was born and raised in Haarlem and knows better than anyone where to find sustainable hotspots. Not just in Haarlem, but all over the Netherlands, she knows where to find nice second-hand shops and green restaurants. She likes to give tips for sustainable trips.
Katja
With her company Wilderlust Katja organises foraging walks and online foraging courses in the Amsterdam and Castricum area, and by invitation also in the rest of the Netherlands. She is a mother of a beautiful daughter.
David
David loves Asian cooking. He is married to Saskia, who inspired him to make greener choices. He’s also our unofficial gadget expert. And we are very happy about that!
Anne
Anne shares her favourite vegan recipes and we couldn't be happier. She also shares her surprising creations on Instagram: @deveganartist. She is married and a mother of four teenagers and lives in the far north of the Netherlands.
